Founded in 1948 and managed by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa (CSST), Mount Carmel College for Women is dedicated to providing quality education. The CSST, established in 1887 by Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima, emphasizes spiritual and socially driven education, envisioning a society free from prevalent social evils. In 2017, Mount Carmel Central School (affiliated to CBSE) emerged under the college’s umbrella, committed to imparting value-based education. With a rich 75-year history, the school focuses on academic excellence, character development, and fostering leadership qualities.
